How to Cancel
A simple membership-management process.

Open Your Account
Sign in to the OneConnectionAI app and open your Account or Membership settings.

Manage Membership
Select the Manage Membership or Billing option to access your Stripe subscription-management page.

Cancel Subscription
Follow the cancellation option provided through Stripe to stop future subscription renewal.

Continue Until Period End
If cancellation is set for the end of the current billing period, your paid membership remains active until that date.
When Does Cancellation Take Effect?
Normally, at the end of your paid billing period.
OneConnectionAI's planned subscription policy is to allow members to cancel future renewal while continuing to use the membership they have already paid for.

Example
Suppose your monthly membership renews on September 20. You cancel on September 7. Your subscription is scheduled not to renew again, but your current paid membership remains available through September 20.
After You Cancel
Cancelling renewal and deleting your account are different.
Cancel Membership
Cancelling a paid subscription stops future recurring membership charges after the applicable billing period.
Your OneConnectionAI account may remain available at the level permitted for non-subscribing members.
This means you may not need to rebuild your entire profile if you later decide to subscribe again.
Close Your Account
Closing or deleting your OneConnectionAI account is a separate action.
Account closure may remove your profile from normal member discovery and begin the applicable data-retention or deletion process.
Members who want both billing cancellation and account closure should complete both appropriate actions.
Billing Through Stripe
Membership billing is managed securely through Stripe.
Stripe's Customer Portal can allow customers to manage billing information, payment methods, invoices, subscriptions, and cancellations. :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}
OneConnectionAI does not need to store your complete card number or card security code in the member database.
The app should store only the Stripe identifiers and membership information reasonably necessary to connect your subscription with your OneConnectionAI account.
Referrals & Cancellations
Referral credit has its own 30-day qualification rule.
OneConnectionAI offers a $10 account credit for qualifying referrals.
The credit is applied 30 days after the referred member successfully pays the qualifying membership fee, provided that payment remains eligible.
If the referred member cancels future renewal but the original membership payment remains valid and is not refunded, disputed, charged back, or determined fraudulent, that referral may still qualify under the referral program.

Important Distinctions
Three actions that are not the same thing.
Cancel Renewal
Stops the membership from renewing again after the applicable current billing period.
Close a Connection
Ends communication with one particular mutual connection. It does not cancel your OneConnectionAI subscription.
Close Account
Ends your OneConnectionAI account itself. This is separate from simply cancelling recurring membership billing.
Cancellation Questions
The important details.
Can I cancel a monthly membership?
Yes. Recurring memberships can be cancelled so they do not renew for another billing period.
Do I lose access immediately when I cancel?
Under the planned end-of-period cancellation policy, no. You retain paid membership access through the end of the billing period you already purchased.
Does cancelling automatically refund the current month?
Not necessarily. Cancellation normally stops future renewal. Refund eligibility is a separate issue and depends on the applicable refund policy and circumstances.
What about a six-month membership?
A six-month subscription can be set not to renew when its paid subscription period ends. Cancelling renewal does not automatically convert the remaining paid period into a month-to-month subscription.
Can I return later?
If your account remains open and in good standing, the service may allow you to purchase a membership again later without creating a duplicate account.
